Today, Thursday 23rd of April we had a total of 33 members and two guests playing at the Royal Chiang Mai Golf Resort a Two man Best Ball Stableford event.
Everyone showed up in time and we all Tee’d off on time. We were lucky today, the temperature was acceptable today and a slight Breeze helped additionally to make it enjoyable. The Course was in great shape with the exception of the Bunkers, they were as intended real Hazards.
Nevertheless the overall Scoring was great. 4 Teams tied for 3rd Place with 43 Stableford points, Christian Friis & Yung Beece, Peter Haddon & Jack Cooper, Graham Adams & Mike Pattavina and Nigel Stubbs & Frank Schwarz.
In second place on their own was with 44 Stableford points, Jim Catterson & Anton Buijs.
The team of the day Ham’n & Egg’n the best was Don Bishop & Jeffrey Himel with an outstanding 49 Stableford points leaving everyone in the dust. It looks like Ron used the training with the “Pissheads” to the fullest and Jeffrey Himel is in top form after a disappointing round at Alpine yesterday.
