August Away Game – Gassan Legacy

The August Away Game is in the Bools and was played on August 13th, 2015 @ the newly renovated Gassan Legacy (former Gassan Lake City). The Format was Stableford. We had a total of 27 members and one Guest, John Laidley. @ of our members did not show up.

The weather was corporations with some overcast and not too much Sunshine. The Golf Course was in excellent conditions and everyone agreed that this course is a true test of Golf and we will be back soon. The Management Staff prepared our arrival very well with Score Cards and Names on each one, Carts with everyones Name on it. The Lunch was quick and really fair priced. A special thank to all the staff for the help and kindness.

As to the Scoring:

3rd place with 34 points was Julian Wing

tied for 2nd with 35 points was Darell Pinney & Lennart Larsson

1st place with 36 points was Jomo Mac Dermott

Kieran Savage Hole in One on # 18 (Par 3 – 131 Yards) and joins a very small group of people in our Society who have recorded a Hole in One.
