Mae Moh Away Game Scramble; 20.06.19

23 members made the trek to Mae Moh today for a Scramble played in perfect golfing conditions. Special thanks to Mike Roycroft’s lady Tim who confirmed our booking and arranged very good prices for us. Also thank you to Aom Teisl who arranged three teams from the front nine and three teams from the second nine which certainly helped with timing. To those who have not played this course, it is well worth the trip. Wonderful course, greens a bit rough because of renovation, but fairways were great.

Closest to the pins were reduced because I forgot to put the first one out on the first nine, and our marker mysteriously went missing from the 6th! Those we could confirm were the great 10th hole which was won by Graham Adams at 6′ 2″ and the 17th hole was won by Keith Taylor at 5′ 5″.

Second team today was Lesley Mullun, Andy Galway, Denise Reynolds and Milton Reynolds with a nett 58 points, but our winners were the team of Aom Teisl, Randy Teisl, Ric Cameron and Garry Walker with a great 55.25 nett.

Well done to everyone and thank you all for making the trip.

Aom, Randy, Garry and Ric

Maejo ; 05.06.19

Well i’m not sure if it it was the heat or humidity or a combination of both that was the cause of a pretty low scoring day. The 2nd hole par 3 has been temporarily moved as a new green is being put down, it should be up and running next week and until then we have a nice little 106 yard tee close to the practice area to contend with. Our winner today with 32 points was Kuzie, 2nd with 29 points was John De Jong. No photo today as Kuzie was the only one in the money to turn up.

North Hill, 03.06.19
