Today, Thursday 21st of August we played our Stableford Away Game at the Doi Inthanon Golf Course. All 42 Players arrived in time, some even with a D-tour trying out new ways. The Course was in good shape despite the fact that some greens were recently sanded and therefore the speed was not consistent. The new Assistant Director (Bob) was very helpful in organizing todays event. The Course had due to their Sport Day promotion more than usual bookings and cars were a bit short. All in all the players were happy with the course the food and the Service. It was a great experience and we will be back in October for our final Tournament of our Annual Championship.
The weather was cooperating by providing a slight breeze with few clouds throughout the round making it not to warm.
As for the results:
The Winner with 43 Stablepoints was Joy Gariano, shared 2nd with 41 points were Kieran Savage and Allan Gariano. Another tied for third place with 39 points were Gary Cooke and Darrell Pinney (with a wrist injury).

The Away Game for the month of August will be held at the Doi Inthanon Golf Course on Thursday 21st, 2014. They have now a Sports day which is every Thursday and the price for green fee, caddy fee and cart is a Baht 1.000. Our Tee Time is 09:00 hours. The format will be Stableford.
