After the previous evenings lighting storm and torrential rains (20) members arrived at Green Valley under clear blue skies to compete in a stableford contest. Everyone arrived on time subsequently resulting in a orderly and on-time tee-off from both the front nine and back nine holes. Most players competed their respective rounds in 4 1/2 hours and, as stated above, under clear and sunny conditions.
Relative to the result the following were today’s winners:
- 1st place with 36 points was Frank Schwarz
- 2nd place went to both Jack Cooper and Graham Adams both posting (34) points
- another 2-way tie for 3rd place with 32 points each was Ronny Peters and Jack Kuzina

As noted on our away game scheduled on Thursday, July 27th we will be playing at the Summit Green Valley Country club in Mae Rim with a scheduled tee-off time of 9:00 am. The competition format will be Stable-ford.
The following are the rates:
For walkers: green fee and caddy fee 1000 baht/person
For riders: green fee , caddy fee, & cart 1500 baht/person
Note: Each player will also receive a 200 baht F&B coupon valid at the Green Valley restaurant.
