Scramble Alpine 12.06.14

Today on June 12, 2014 a total of 44 players made their way out to the Alpine Golf Resort for our second Scramble of the year. Due to the fact that the upcoming Chiang Mai Classic Tournament hosted by the ASIAN Tours is postponed the rough was cut down to only approx. 10 cm unplayable sticky grass.

Most of the players arrived with ample time to exchange Social news as much as what is going on in the game of Golf. We teed of on split tees which allowed us for a reasonable total playing time for all 11 teams. The course was otherwise in great shape with nice rolling greens. A day where Fairway hits were definitely a bonus.

The weather was cooperative for most of the day with a slight overcast and towards the end we even had a breeze going through the Valley.

We met for the after the round at the Club house where stories where shared regarding the last 4 hours. It was our impression that everyone enjoyed the time (as long as there were on the Fairway).

The first and last place are only 5 shots apart, considering the toughness of the course, we found that remarkable.

We have a three way tie for third place with a net score of 63 between, Rene. Pung, Lennart, Bob G. & Graham, Kuzi, Kim, Harry & Smiley, Kieran, Gary C., Darrell.

In second place with a net score of 62, Ashley, John B., Peter Brown, Allan.
