Chiang Mai Social Golfers vs. Sanuk Sabai Social Golfers
Today, June 25th, 2014 at Mae Jo we had a total of 40 Golfers competing for the Chiang Mai Cup 2014. All players showed up in time and everyone was in good spirits. Some of our members who could not join the competition due to a 20 players limit per Club went out before we started the Cup.
The Sanuk Sabai Social Golfers brought their A game and the results showed a close scoring difference in each team. After Scoring the first 9 teams the status quo was 5 points for the CMSG team and 4 points for the SSSG team. So if the last game is won by the SSSG we tie and the SSSG retain the Cup. When we saw the big smile of the anchor team Don Bishop and Natthawaree Sriwanlord we knew we had won the Cup 6 – 4.
At this point we would like to extend our gratitude to all players of the SSSG for their positive attitude, Integrity and good sportsman ship to make this a perfect day for everyone.
The Committee want to thank the members for an outstanding play and to make the SSSG members feel at home. And of course a very special thank you for playing awesome and to win the Cup. Well done.
Everyone agreed that this was a very enjoyable day, the food preparation at our 19th hole went very smoothly without long waiting and as usual very good tasting. A special thank you goes out to them as well.
