Maejo: 31.01.20

We had 11 members today and our guest “Nick Gudewill” who has handed in his second card and decided to be part of CMSG, welcome Nick to our society. Milton and Denise played with us today as part of my birthday round and all things considered played reasonably well given they dont know the course that well. Rumour has it “there is video evidence” that Mr Pattavina lost a club up a tree and almost lost another while trying to retrieve it, i believe both clubs were happily re united by the end of the match. Our winner today was Rob Grootenhuijs with 33 points, 2nd equal were husband and wife Milton and Denise with 31 points

Maejo: 24.01.20

11 members and 1 guest turned up for our stableford round today, ideal conditions but a busy course, we were fortunate again to start on number 10 thus missing the morning rush hour. Welcome back Tom Berger, who had a game of two halfs, also thanks to our guest today for putting in a $100 bht for our charity. Im not sure if it was the pin positions today but something was amiss with low scoring all round. Our winner today with 30 points was Mike Roycroft, 2nd equal were Kuzie and Alex Stewart

Gymkhana, 23.01.2020

Gymkhana 9 hole competition was good today 16 CMSG golfers and 1 guest. a little slow because of a lot of people out on the course, and Ted so I was told, but that wasn’t true after all. No one won the birdie hole which was the par 5 number 2. We’ll see what we can do next week for a better birdie hole. Today’s winners, Noi Taylor and Ian Carr tied for second at 18 point for the 9 holes. I don’t know if I really want to say this but Ted Taylor placed first with 20 points. I’ll have to talk with his scorer that had the same last name that scored his card, just kidding. Congratulations to our winners. Next week same time same place and thank you for all coming out.

Maejo: 15.01.20

7 members and 1 guest all started on number 10 as the 1st tee was busy, it was a good move as we all completed our rounds in 3 hours 45 minutes with no hold ups. Our guest today was Werner Parpan from Switzerland who has decided to join CMSG, his back round wasn’t so good but shot 37 off the stick on the 1st 9, well done. The mens tee today had a huge disadvantage as most of the tee box placements had been moved back some 50 yards or more as well as some difficult pin placements, i must have a word with the green keeper !!!!!!. Our winner again today was Rob Grootenhuijs with 33 points followed by Mr Park with 30 points
