13 members for today’s stableford round. Another perfect day to play golf with ideal conditions and with some pretty good scores posted. Unfortunately i forgot to take a photo of today’s winners, the problem with divided command !!!!. I do however have a photo taken “1” year ago of Alex Stewart’s birthday, congratulations Alex on your 81st birthday, still walking 18 holes and always a pleasure to play with.
Our winners today were,
In 1st place was Jack Kuzina with 40 points, 2nd with 36 points was Rob Grootenhuijs and coming in 3rd equal were Robert Green and Stuart Duncan on 35 points.
Happy 81st Alex

North Hill, 25.01.19
Another day on a busy course with 27 members and 3 guests in the Stableford event. Two members DNF, completing 9 holes only. Teeing off in order of arrival with the exception of visitors and the birthday group, Happy Birthday Jack Cooper, and special request groups going off last. Great weather conditions and very fast greens, not sure if that’s a compliment or a complaint. The birdie hole #9 went off to Barry Rolston, well done, new birdie hole next week. The winner today was Barry Rolston with 38 points, in second place was Leon Smiler and coming in third was Roger Mack. Well done all and thank you for your patience.
Maejo, 25.01.19
Perfect conditions today saw 12 members tee off on time with everyone finishing the front 9 in good time, the back 9 was slightly longer due to some slow groups ahead. Our winners today were Keith Taylor and Diane Mayo with 36 points and Rob Grootenhuijs coming in 3rd on 35 points. Just a reminder folks, when dropping the ball its from knee height, for me its easy enough being vertically challenged, but for those of taller statue you may have to bend down. Also, remember there is a free drop if you end up in the flower beds on holes 17 and 18. Have a great weekend all
Maejo, 23.01.19

6 members and 1 guest turned up on a quieter course for a midday tee off. Some low scores today reflect just how tricky the greens are given some pin placements. In 1st place was Mike Pattavina with 35 points, and tied for 2nd were Adam and Jack with 31 points
Our winner today. Mike Pattavina, absent were Jack and Adam

North Hill, 18.01.19
There were 23 members and 4 guests for today’s Stableford round on an extremely busy course (what’s new for High Season, we should all be used to it). Anyway 4 members DNF. There were no takers for the birdie hole #9 although apparently many went close. Yung learnt a lesson with his approach shot to a green for eagle when he saw his ball bounce on the green and assumed it then went into the water and without calling a provisional played another shot only to find his original ball in the hole when he got to the green. Always wise to call a provisional when in doubt. The winner on the day was Bill Whitsett with 42 points, in second place was Russell Banks with 36 points and in third was Garry Walker with 35 points. Well done to all who persevered on the day.
