On this Thursday, May 22nd we went with a total of 31 Players to the Highlands Golf Course for our Monthly Away Game. This time we played a Stableford format.
Our planned first Tee time of 08:51 was move forward by 30 minutes and thankfully all players were on the course on time to allow us to start without any delays. Everyone got around in 4 1/2 hours on a day with a Blue Sky and some refreshing wind, which made the whole Experience so much better. The course was in great shape and talking to the players after the round it was obvious that everyone was enjoying the day. The Scoring itself was really great and showed that Highlands is a good place for all Handicap groups.
16 players out of 28 in the competition played within the Buffer Zone or better. That was really good scoring.
Todays Winner with 45 points was Christian Friis (his Handicap dropped by 3.6 points), tied for second place with 39 points were Bill Johnson, Peter Brown and Don Young. Tied for third place with 38 points was Stuart Leckie and Peter Haddon (Smiley).
Congratulations to the Winners and a big thank you for all members for a very pleasant day. Sorry but we have no pictures due to broken glasses (poor view).
