The annual tournament in 2026 will be held at the three regular CMSG venues as detailed below. The green fee rates will be confirmed ahead of each event. We will have a 100 baht match fee for prizes.
1. Lanna – 5th October – First Tee Time 08:00

Cost: Thai 850 / Foreigner 1050 baht for green fee, cart and caddie.
2. Maejo – 9th October – First Tee Time 08:00
Course Captain : Randy Teisl
Cost: 1500 baht for green fee, cart and caddie.
3. Hariphunchai – 14th October – First Tee Time 08:00
Course Captain : Brian Rundle
Cost: 1000 baht for green fee, cart and caddie.
Eligibility
- New members who don’t yet have a CMSG handicap can still take part in all the events but are only eligible to win the nearest the pin prizes donated by Bluestar.
- Members with handicaps, but since the last Annual Tournament, have not played at least 8 rounds in CMSG competitions that can be used for handicap purposes, may still win the usual CMSG daily prizes, but will not be eligible for the Tournament trophies
- Everybody else will be eligible for all prizes

- Highest Stableford Points Male
- Runner-up Stableford Points Male
- Third Place Stableford Points Male
- Highest Stableford Points Female
All the above trophies will be presented at the Year End Party, 14 November at Gymkhana Golf Club.
There will also be a trophy awarded to the Stableford winner, male or female, at each of the 3 venues. These trophies will be presented on the day of the event rather than at the party. If there are joint winners, as there is only one trophy this will be awarded to the member with the lower handicap on that day.
Formats and Rules
Different from last year, the Annual Competition 2026, is based on 3 events by making use of our “standard” CMSG golf courses.
To be eligible for all the Tournament “Stableford” trophies you must play all 3 events as the prizes will be awarded for the highest aggregate of 3 rounds. You may play off any tee colour. There is no restriction.
To be eligible for the Lowest Gross Trophy firstly you must play in also 3 events as your aggregate score for all the 3 events count. Secondly you must play from the white tees, and thirdly as this is a stroke competition you must always hole out. You must never pick up if you have a disastrous hole.
To win the 3 course trophies which are presented at the events, there are no restrictions. The highest stableford points on that day will win the trophy. If there is a tie, it will be awarded to the member with the lower handicap.
Please note that members going for the lowest gross trophy will also be eligible for the stableford trophies.
Local Rules
Members should familiarise themselves with the local rules that apply at each course as these could be different depending on the course. All local rules are contained on the “local rules” page of this website. Captains have been tasked to update this page if applicable, but once the tournament starts, the only local rules that will be accepted are the ones listed. In all other instances, you play by the rules of golf.

Annual Tournament (2nd Event)
Great turnout today, 33 players total. Thank your Maejo for supporting our group. Had a shotgun start on the front nine holes. Had nine groups and most finished under 4 hours. Chris Ryan and Bluestar AMG sponsored the nearest to the pin prizes. Hole #2 Roger Bishop, Hole #7 Randy Teisl, Hole #14 Rob Bos and Hole #17 Serge. In 9th place with 33 points Aom, in 8th place Ian Martin with 35 points. In 7th place Serge with 37 points, in 6th place Ken Warren with 37 points. In 5th place with 38 points Garry Walker, in 4th place with 38 points Roger Bishop and 3rd place with 38 points Danie Mulder. In 2nd place with 4- points was Brian Rundle. Today’s BIG WINNER with 42 points was Kuzie.
It is very hot at the top of the Male Players, where the Top 3 are in close range to win the Annual Trophy. For the Female Players the difference in the Top 2 can be “bridged” with 6 points but the ladies need to control on preventing penalties. A lot of water is waiting at Haripunchai. For Gross competition, the Winner is already established.
